ROCK Coffee House specializes in espresso drinks, smoothies, and sandwich making.The ROCK Community Center (where the cafe is located) offers a fun and safe place for local youth to hang out after school. Mon-Fri from 3pm-6pm we offer free tutoring services for children in elementary school, middle school, and high school. Students are also invited to use our rec room free of charge, complete with free wireless internet access, online computers, a foosball, air hockey, and video games. The second Wednesday of every month from 7pm-9pm we host an open mic night for the community, and we also show free movies on our big screen projector every Friday from 7pm-9pm.

History
Established in 2009.

R.O.C.K. is an acronym that stands for Reach Our Community Kids. We are a faith-based organization that started as an afterschool program here in Eagle Rock in 1996 and incorporated as a 501(c)(3) non-profit in 1998. We have operated out of our current location at the corner of Yosemite Drive and Townsend Avenue since September 2001. ROCK Coffee House opened its doors for business on August 1, 2009. This social enterprise subsidizes the mission of the ROCK Community Center so we can remain self-sustaining as a non-profit, and it also allows us to offer job training to local youth to help stimulate the economy during this time of economic recovery. We are also able to provide the space and the organizational umbrella for various community partners who need a venue to meet.
