History
Established in 2006.

I’ve been doing hair a long time. It all started when I first attended Barber school on Oahu – Hawaii Institute of Hair Design. It was a great experience and that’s when I knew I’d be in the hair biz for a long time. Upon graduation I started at a hair salon in Pearlridge. I was there for 8 years. I ended up moving to the Big Isle, continuing with hair, working in the Prince Kuhio Plaza for about 3 years. 16 years later upon completing Barber school and building a nice and dedicated clientele… Shaunna’s Beauty Salon fell right in place and I hope to give everyone that comes thru my doors a wonderful and rememorable experience overall 🙂

Hey, I’m a licensed Barber-Styist. I’ve been doing hair for 16 years+ I’m passionate about hair, I feel that if your hair is on point – you’ll feel better about yourself overall.  I specialize in curly hair, I also do all hair types. There isn’t a hair type I haven’t dealt with and if there’s something I don’t know, I will go and educate myself to be of better service to every client. I enjoy doing permanent smoothing services and relaxers.  Color correction is another service i like doing. Thank u. I look forward to having you in my chair 🙂
