Virtual Festival Of Black Dolls Show & Sale

American Black Beauty Doll Artists (ABBDA) and the African American Museum & Library at Oakland (AAMLO) are proud to announce the 2020 Virtual Festival of Black Dolls Show & Sale.

Special Guest Speaker will be Bukola Somide; entrepreneur, inventor, and author of Somi the Computer Scientist: Princess Can Code.

ABBDA’s 2020 raffle is an original handcrafted Harriet Tubman doll. Harriet Tubman was an American abolitionist and political activist. Born into slavery, Tubman escaped and subsequently made some 13 missions to rescue approximately 70 enslaved people, including family and friends, using the network of antislavery activists and safe houses known as the Underground Railroad.
