I designed my first obituary in 2008 of a precious 10-year-old little girl. I wasn’t expecting to be so attached emotionally to the family. The only thing I could think about was delivering an obituary that would leave a smile, and if there were tears, it would be because her family was left with a beautiful memorabilia to remember her by. I carry this same sentiment with each family I service.
